Presenting San Francisco’s AB 1466 work at the CAA IT Conference

On April 14, Christine Tsang, our CEO, and Faiz Surani, our CTO, presented at the California Assessors’ Association IT Conference, held with the CAA spring conference at the Mission Inn in Riverside. They walked through the work Caldera has done with the San Francisco Office of the Assessor-Recorder, which is using Mesa to find, redact, and rerecord racially restrictive covenants across its property records, as California’s AB 1466 requires.

San Francisco Assessor-Recorder Joaquín Torres and Holly Lung of his office joined us for the session. Speaking to the room, Torres said:

“This project would have taken years of manual work without Caldera. We are grateful to have such incredible partners.”
